If you can’t heat water, we recommend also stocking up on fire gel, which allows you to easily heat food in any conditions. Tactical Fire Pot fire gel can heat up to 10 food packs.
If you can’t use an open flame or boil water, there is a heating bag with a heating element available for warming food. This allows you to prepare all Tactical Foodpack meals. The heating element reacts upon contact with cold water, raising the water temperature to 100 degrees.

Freeze-drying technology – the best solution for hiking food
Tactical Foodpack products use freeze-drying technology, which preserves the food’s taste, texture, and nutritional value. This method removes water from the food at low temperatures, retaining almost all original nutrients and ensuring long-term shelf life.
Benefits of freeze-drying:
- Long shelf life: Food that keeps without a refrigerator makes it an excellent solution for long-term food storage.
- Light weight and compact size: Water-free meals are light and easy to carry, making them perfect for hikers and survivalists.
- Quick preparation: Freeze-dried meals are ready in just a few minutes when you add hot water. This makes cooking easy even when time or resources are scarce.
