Weatherproof lighter

Weatherproof lighters have gained popularity as windproof lighters. These lighters are designed for use even in challenging weather conditions. The windproof nature of these lighters means that their flame does not go out even in windier weather.

Using the lighter

The best way to extinguish the flame is to close the lighter by pressing the top part shut. This cuts off the oxygen supply to the flame, and the fire goes out. The lighter has a characteristic clicking sound that is heard when both opening and closing the top. These types of lighters are known worldwide partly because of this sound.

The lighters are filled with special zippo lighter fluid, which can be purchased separately. Please note that when bought new, the lighter does not contain fluid. Instructions for safe use can be found on the packaging.
