Description

Splint Instructions

  1. Shape the splint into the desired form. The ideal shape is one that fixes the limb in an immobile position.
  2. Place the splint around the limb and secure it with an elastic bandage. If an elastic bandage is not available, you can temporarily use tape, for example.
  3. When securing the splint, make sure the fastening is not too tight and blood circulation is not restricted.

NB! Open wounds must be covered with a sterile dressing before using the splint.
