Description

Dynamo and solar-powered radio power bank

Do you enjoy listening to the radio while hiking, working in the garage, or gardening? Then you’ve probably thought about a portable radio. And why not choose one that also helps in a crisis, such as a power outage? This dynamo and solar-powered radio/power bank also features a decent LED lamp – making it a useful three-in-one accessory. You don’t have to worry about charging either, as there are several ways to power the radio. This 2000 mAh multifunctional radio has three charging options – hand crank, solar power, or USB cable. So you’ll never be left stranded, and both your news source and flashlight will stay charged.

crank radio

Small and compact

Keep it in a drawer at home, in the garage, at the cottage, in the basement, or carry it with you on a forest hike. The dynamo radio is lightweight and doesn’t take up much space in your backpack; you can clip it to your bag or carry it around your wrist with the strap. It’s even small enough to fit in your pocket.

Backup power bank

In addition to the radio and LED lamp, the device functions as a power bank via USB cable, allowing you to charge your phone or smartwatch. Imagine you’re hiking, your phone battery is dead, and all you have to do is take the radio out of your bag, place it in the sun to charge, or even simpler, just crank it – and the power bank/radio is charged again, and so is your phone. The battery indicator lets you know the battery status.

Radio

To turn the radio on and adjust the volume, turn the VOLUME knob clockwise.

Select the AM or FM radio band. For better reception, extend the radio antenna.

To select a radio frequency, turn the TUNING knob.

Dynamo and solar-powered radio/power bank – charging:

There are 3 ways to charge the radio: solar power / hand-crank dynamo / USB power source.

1. Charging with a USB cable:

Connect one end of the charging cable to the device’s USB Type-C port and insert the other end into a USB charger or charging port. The battery fully charges in approximately 3-4 hours. A fully charged battery allows up to 10 hours of radio use, depending on the volume.

2. Manual dynamo charging:

Lift the crank from the back of the device.

Turn the hand crank clockwise or counter-clockwise for 3–5 minutes to activate the battery for the first use or if the device has been unused for more than 60 days. The red charging indicator light will turn on when you start.

To charge the device, turn the handle crank at a speed of 130-150 RPM (revolutions per minute). Sufficient speed is reached when the battery indicator light is on. Full battery charging time is 2-2.5 hours. Three minutes of manual charging should provide enough power for 10-15 minutes of radio listening.

1. Solar charging:

Place the solar panel in direct sunlight. The red power indicator will light up during charging.

Place the radio in sunlight for about 10-12 hours. The solar panel is mainly intended to extend battery life. For a full battery cycle charge, the solar panel should be in direct, intense sun for at least a full day.

NB! Please do not leave the radio to charge in high-temperature locations, such as a car interior.

NNB! The expected useful life of the solar panel is 25 years when used for 6 hours a day.

NNNB! This device is intended for charging devices in emergencies only and is not meant for daily use as a power bank.
