Nikwax WOOL WASH® – merino wool cleaner

Nikwax WOOL WASH® is a merino wool cleaner specially created for cleaning wool clothes and sportswear. It cleans effectively, removes odors, and contains a softener that helps wool fibers maintain a pleasant feel.

The cleaner is especially suitable for maintaining wool sportswear in direct contact with the body. In addition to cleaning, it helps improve the wicking properties of the wool and speed up the drying of the material.

Gentle on wool fibers

Wool needs the right cleaner during maintenance because cleaners that are too harsh can damage delicate wool fibers. Nikwax WOOL WASH® does not contain enzymes that could damage wool fibers.

The cleaner effectively cleans and softens while helping to maintain the properties of the wool material. It is suitable for use with various wool garments and especially for wool sportswear intended for active use.

Helps remove odors

Wool sportswear is often worn directly against the skin, making effective odor removal important. Nikwax WOOL WASH® helps remove odors and clean garments after active use.

The cleaner also helps improve the wicking properties of the wool and speed up drying. This makes it a practical choice for maintaining merino wool sports shirts, base layers, and other wool garments intended for active use.

Suitable for machine and hand washing

Nikwax WOOL WASH® is suitable for both machine and hand washing. Shake the bottle well before use and follow the instructions on the cleaner’s packaging along with the care information for the item being washed.

For larger stains, the cleaner can be applied directly to the stain before washing. Do not use fabric softener when washing.

NB! Nikwax WOOL WASH® is not suitable for washing jackets with a waterproof membrane or wool insulation that have water-repellent properties.
