Nikwax TECH WASH® – technical wash for maintaining hiking and sportswear
Nikwax TECH WASH® is a technical wash specifically created for cleaning technical, synthetic sports and hiking clothes and various outdoor gear. It removes dirt, helps restore breathability, and improves the performance of waterproof membranes. Additionally, the wash helps revitalize the material’s DWR (Durable Water Repellency) properties.
TECH WASH® is well-suited for the regular maintenance of waterproof rain jackets, hiking pants, and other technical clothing. It can also be used to clean synthetic sleeping bags, backpacks, and other suitable hiking equipment.
Suitable for Gore-Tex®, Sympatex®, and other technical materials
When it comes to technical clothing, removing visible dirt isn’t the only thing that matters. These materials are designed to provide weather protection while maintaining breathability. Nikwax TECH WASH® is developed specifically for maintaining materials with these properties.
The product is suitable for maintaining Gore-Tex®, Texapore®, Sympatex®, eVent®, Windstopper®, Nikwax Analogy®, and other similar waterproof and windproof materials.
During the washing process, TECH WASH® helps restore the material’s breathability and revitalize its water-repellent properties. Therefore, it is suitable for the regular maintenance of technical outdoor clothing, helping to preserve its functionality.
For use in a washing machine or by hand
Nikwax TECH WASH® is suitable for both machine and hand washing. Shake the bottle well before use and follow the instructions on the packaging as well as the care instructions for the garment or equipment being washed.
For larger or stubborn stains, TECH WASH® can be applied directly to the stain before washing.
Important: do not use fabric softener when washing technical clothing, as it can affect the material’s technical properties.
