Description
Richmond 1 Tent
Tunnel-construction tents offer excellent wind resistance. Even on stormy days, you don’t have to worry about the tent staying grounded. Properly staked down, the tent won’t fly away in windy weather. The Richmond 1 tent consists of an inner and outer tent, both of which can be set up independently. In warm climates on hot nights, you can use just the inner tent. This allows for better airflow and cooling, while the mesh keeps annoying insects out. As a bonus, if you’re lucky, you can fall asleep with a view of the starry sky.
Richmond 1 Tent – what materials are used?
The tent’s cover and construction materials are lightweight. Thin but durable “smart” materials are used, keeping the total weight to a minimum and allowing hikers to carry it easily. The outer fly and floor are polyurethane-coated to ensure good water resistance. The seams are taped, keeping you comfortably warm and dry even in wet weather.
Additional features
The vestibule on the side of the tent allows you to store your gear close by and protected from the elements. It’s designed for storing wet clothes, shoes, and your backpack, keeping the inner sleeping area dry. The pole at the head of the tent is larger/higher to allow for easier movement and more space inside.
NB! The guy lines feature a reflective design, making them much more visible in the dark. No more tripping over tent ropes at night. It also makes it easier to find your tent in the dark.
