What is a log candle?

A log candle or fire log (known as a Swedish torch or Canadian candle) is a practical and impressive way to make a fire. It’s a single piece of wood with cuts or drilled holes for a controlled and stable burn. It’s filled with a flammable substance and includes a convenient fuse. The mosquito-repelling log candle also contains lemongrass extract. It works as both a light and heat source and is perfect for outdoor use – for example, while hiking, at a summer home, or a garden party. A log candle with cuts can also be used for cooking by placing a pan on top.
