Backpack rain cover – reliable protection for hiking and daily use

A backpack rain cover is an essential part of any hiking or daily gear, offering simple and effective protection against changing weather conditions. Whether you’re heading for a hike, military training, or just a walk in the city – an unexpected downpour can quickly ruin your gear without proper protection.

This backpack rain cover helps keep your bag’s contents dry even in heavy rain, sleet, or wet snow. At the same time, it provides protection against dust, sand, and dirt, which can wear down the bag’s fabric over long-term use. Thanks to its lightweight and compact design, it’s perfect for both active outdoor enthusiasts and city dwellers. It’s a piece of gear you only notice when you need it – and then you’ll be glad you have it.

Strong and waterproof material ensures reliable protection

The backpack rain cover is made of 100% polyester with a durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating. This coating makes the material completely waterproof and helps prevent moisture from penetrating the bag even during prolonged rainfall. In addition to being waterproof, the material is also wear- and tear-resistant, making it suitable for harsh conditions.

The cover measures 79 × 54 cm, making it ideal for US assault pack style backpacks (e.g. Mil-Tec patrol bag) and other similarly sized gear bags. The cover fully wraps the backpack, creating a tight protective layer that keeps out both water and dirt.

Easy attachment and built-in compression sack

Practical design isn’t limited to material quality – the attachment system is also well-thought-out and easy to use. The edge of the cover features an elastic hem that can be further adjusted with a cord stopper. This allows you to securely fasten the cover around the bag so it won’t slip or shift during movement or in strong winds.

Additionally, a compression sack is sewn onto the backpack rain cover, making storage especially convenient. When you’re not using the cover, you can quickly pack it away into its own attached bag. This way, it’s always at hand and won’t get lost among your other gear.

Backpack rain cover – lightweight and practical in any situation

Despite its strong and waterproof construction, the backpack rain cover weighs only 85 grams. This means you can always carry it with you without adding significant weight to your gear. Its compact size and low weight make it a great companion for all kinds of activities – hiking, military training, fishing trips, or just your daily commute to work or school.

The practicality of the rain cover lies in its simplicity: it requires no tools or complicated fastening – just pull it over the bag and secure it with the stopper. Thanks to its understated design, it also pairs well with various styles and gear.
